The Northampton County Historical Society is pleased to announce that the Sigal Museum joins the State Theatre, Carmelcorn, Easton Post Office, and eighteen other buildings comprising the Hometown Series Collectibles issued by Aura Ceramics of Easton. Since 1991, Aura Ceramics has created buildings to “preserve Easton.” The buildings are sculpted by Chris Blomquist of Aura and are all hand-painted at Aura Ceramics. This limited edition replica of the Sigal Museum is designed on the reverse side with a history of the previous buildings origionallty on the  site of the Sigal Museum . This piece is available exclusively at the Sigal Museum and at Aura Ceramics, for $25.

We are pleased to offer of The Doors of Northampton County, a print of twenty-five photographs of doorways to places throughout this historic area.

The Doors of Northampton County is a door-to-door tour of the region’s charming and diverse architectural styles, and includes selected doors in Nazareth, Easton, Bethlehem, Freemansburg, and Bath.  Photographed by Paul Funke, all photos were taken in 2011.  Mr. Funke is recognized for his work which typically evokes a strong sense of place, and he explores the many and varied landscapes of our region from the rail lines to commercial buildings.

The prints are 24″x36″ and suitable for framing.  Copies are sold exclusively through the Sigal Museum Store and Paul Funke Photography for $20 each, with proceeds benefitting the historical society.  The project was made possible through the generous support of Richard Master and MCS Industries.
